Russell "The Voice" Watson is Coming Home's latest Ambassador and is supporting the campaign through a series of concerts in 2014 organised by Homeground Projects.

David Price

The current British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Boxing Champion is an Ambassador for Coming Home. 'Coming Home is a charity that goes unnoticed but a lot of soldiers come home in a different state to when they go to fight in Afghanistan or wherever. They are unsung heroes.’


BNY Mellon has been very supportive of the campaign and have sponsored the Coming Home float in the Lord Mayor's Parade in 2011 and underwrote the cost of the Gala Dinner. They have held a series of in-house events to raise awareness and to raise funds. This year, they will be on board with the Bunbury Cricket match and Dinner at the HAC on 9th September.


The Ascot Lawyers Foundation, headed up by the wonderfully energetic Alan Carr, are being great supporters of Coming Home, holding two incredible events this year - The Coronation Ball at Ascot Racecourse on 29th June with a fabulous line-up of stars and entertainment and the Dinner Dance on the Royal Yacht Britannia in Edinburgh in September. We are delighted to announce that Knight Frank is also supporting Coming Home, promoting us at a series of events including Heroes at the Tower and a drinks party at Chelsea Flower Show. They sponsored the Coming Home float at the Lord Mayor's Parade in 2012 and have kindly agreed to do the same for 2013.


HOMEGROUND Social Enterprise, is a community interest company.  It's current project is to raise funds for four specialist charity organisations which actively support service personnel who return to the UK after being injured in theatres of war, including Coming Home.  Funds will be raised through the sale of a charity record (to be released on the 31st March 2014) and concerts in Edinburgh (31st May 2014) and London (27th July 2014). Both the record and concerts will headline Russell Watson and include many other artists.


Spirit of Remembrance is a specialist company running Remembrance and Battlefield Tours worldwide for individuals and groups of all sizes. They have kindly chosen to support Coming Home through all their events


Garages in Cranleigh and Ewhurst signed up to help Coming Home by donating £1 for every service they carry out. We are enormously grateful for this support which not only brings in income but spreads the word too!

Huge thanks to Associated Newspapers, publishers of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday. Over the weekend 16/17 July, both papers carried full page advertisements in which Rupert Murdoch apologised to the British public for events arising from the phone hacking scandal. Showing great generosity Associated Newspapers has given the funds charged to Murdoch to our Coming Home Appeal.
